Description: A very beautiful chalice that belongs to the Vasa Sacra of liturgical vessels. Executed with gold gilding. The cup is provided with a decoration on the underside. The stem is provided with window decoration and buttons in the shape of a cross. The foot is provided with engraved decorations. Very beautiful example. The model is demountable and provided on the inside of the stem with a (non-precious) tube for reinforcement and for attachment. Origin: 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands Silversmith: W.N.M. van Hooft (1897-1918) Year: ca. 1900 (given the hallmark of the old sword) Hallmarks: lion 2, Minerva, master mark (WvH), old sword Condition: in good condition, with signs of use and gold gilding worn in places Weight: 674.4 grams Content: 833/1000 Dimensions: 22.5 x 16.8 cm
